Michal Mainzer is the founder of ArtReach Collective providing Art Counselling and Art Mentor programs to people with Disabilities, Mental Health Vulnerabilities and young people. Michal is a qualified Mental Health Counsellor practising in Melbourne. Having over 10 years’ experience in the disability and mental health sector and over 15 years working as an artist in the creative arts field she has combined her two passions to empower people work through life’s challenges through the Art Therapy sessions and believes sometimes are is the key to unlocking emotions which are sometimes challenging to access through talk therapy.
Michal has a commitment to providing the highest standard of quality care to individuals who are dealing with life’s struggles and mental health vulnerabilities.
The Art sessions involves an exploration of a range of art materials from oil pastels to painting and clay. Michal also offers Michal visits to Art Galleries across Melbourne!
She has a studio at the back of her home in which she sees clients, she also travels to your home if more convenient.
Michal is welcoming and accepting of people from all backgrounds and is sensitive when working with people from different circumstances, religions and gender identities.
